I. Background

On February 14, 2014, the Plaintiffs Chiquita Fresh North America, ■ LLC; Dole *174Fresh Fruit Company; S. Katzman Produce, Inc.; and Katzman Berry Corp. (collectively, the “Plaintiffs”) commenced this action under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (“PACA”), 7 U.S.C. § 499e(c)(5), against Long Island Banana Corp. (“LI Banana”), Suffolk Banana Co., Inc. (“Suffolk Banana”), and their common principal, namely, Thomas J. Hoey. (“Thomas Jr.”).
