Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Orange County (Bivona, J.), rendered August 28, 2007, convicting him of assault in the third degree, after a nonjury trial, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the prosecution, we find that it was legally sufficient to establish the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt (see People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620, 621 [1983]; People v Hunt, 13 AD3d 160, 160-161 [2004]; People v Petteys, 223 AD2d 992, 993 [1996]).
