' This is a law action to recover fees for professional engineering services, pursuant to a contract for the erection of an apartment building which was never constructed because the construction bids, were substantially in excess of an alleged- estimate. Defendant Guardian Investment Company, hereinafter referred to as Guardian, cross-petitioned for? alleged -damages because of an inadequate' -‘estimate.
