This is an action for damages for personal injuries. At the completion of plaintiff’s ease defendant moved for a judgment of involuntary nonsuit. The trial court held that it should be granted but continued the trial after advising both parties that it would sign and enter a judgment of involuntary nonsuit after a jury verdict without regard to the evidence subsequently produced in the case. Thereafter, defendant produced its evidence and after both parties rested defendant renewed its motion for a judgment of involuntary non-suit and also made a motion for a directed verdict.
