The declaration herein consists of the common counts in assumpsit. The plain tiffs below, Gore & Deeds, were real estate agents residing in the city of East St. Louis. Ellen Whalen, Thomas Whalen, Nellie Whalen and Jennie O’Neill, the defendants below, and Mrs. Cassie Farrington, were the owners of property in Carlinville called the O’Neill House, a hotel. The defendants resided together as one family in Carlinville; Mrs. Farrington resided in St. Louis.
