—A. Waldo, acting in his capacity as first vice-president of the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company, incorporated under the laws of Kansas, and the Missouri, Kansas <& Texas Railway Company in Texas, incorporated under the laws of Texas, employed A. Faulkner by letter for the term of one year, at a salary of $5000, to act as general passenger and ticket agent for both of said companies, operating a line of railway through the States of Missouri, Kansas, Indian Territory, and Texas.
