First National Bank of Commerce d/b/a First Bankcard Center appeals the Civil District Court’s granting the defendants’ exception of prescription. We affirm.

The defendants, David Band and Ilonka Band were issued a credit card account by the plaintiff in September of 1988. The defendants made their last minimum payment on this account on May 7, 1993. In November of 1993 the full amount owed to the plaintiff was $ 6,209.43.
