Following a jury trial, defendant George Walker was found guilty of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 12 — 14(a)(1)) and sentenced to an extended term of 60 years in the custody of the Department of Corrections, to be served consecutive to another 60-year sentence for an earlier conviction of aggravated criminal sexual assault.
