Lawrence E. Schmitz, petitioner in this action for dissolution of marriage, appeals from a judgment awarding certain property to respondent Violet E. Schmitz. The principal issue on appeal is whether the trial court erred by finding that the parties’ homestead was in part a marital asset even though the downpayment on it was made with funds from the sale of a premarital asset belonging solely to Lawrence Schmitz.
