John Wilkins, of the State of Tennessee, filed a petition in the Lafayette Circuit Court, stating, that on the 9th day of November, 1851, his brother, Allen T. Wilkins, a resident of said county, died, seized of real and personal property, without having been married, and leaving no child lawfully begotten, father or mother, him surviving.
