Felipe Morrow (“Morrow”) sued Daim-lerchrysler Corporation (“Chrysler”) and Johnson Controls, Inc. (“Johnson”) (collectively, “Defendants”) in the Circuit Court of Cook County, alleging state law claims of strict liability and negligence in the design and manufacture of a certain 1999 Chrysler 300M motor vehicle.
