The court having granted leave to file, this cause is before us on Goldberg’s original petition for a writ of mandamus or other appropriate relief. The respondents are the Honorable Julius J. Hoffman, Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Honorable Herbert Brownell, Jr., Attorney General of the United States; Honorable H.
