This was an action of case brought in the circuit court of Stephenson county by Maria Enzler, as administratrix of the estate of John Anton Enzler, deceased, against A. P. Goddard and A. J. Goddard, the appellants, to recover damages occasioned to the widow and minor children of said John Anton Enzler by reason of his death. The jury returned a verdict for $3500 in favor of the administratrix. After overruling a motion for a new trial and a motion in arrest of judgment the court entered judgment upon the verdict.
