Casey, J.

This appeal raises choice-of-law issues in an action by a Pennsylvania resident arising out of an accident at a construction site in Massachusetts. Defendant, the general contractor at the construction site, is a New York corporation, as is third-party defendant, plaintiffs employer. The owner of the construction site, a Massachusetts corporation, is not a party. Plaintiff was hired in New York and received benefits pursuant to the New York Workers’ Compensation Law.
