Appellant, Janet L. Candela (“defendant”), appeals the judgment of conviction for murder in the second degree entered by the Circuit Court of St. Charles County after a jury trial. We affirm.

Defendant lived with Keith Okai and three children: Amber Okai, Keith’s four-and-a-half year old daughter from a previous marriage; Nicole Zigemeyer, defendant’s three year old daughter from a previous marriage; and Kyle Okai, the ten month old son of Keith and defendant.
