1. The plaintiffs and one of the defendant corporations are of this Commonwealth, but the Wheeler & Wilson Manufacturing Company is a Connecticut corporation, and the Singer Manufacturing Company a Hew York corporation. The two last mentioned corporations petitioned for the removal of the fiase to the Circuit Court of the United States, but the petition was denied. It is settled that corporations are to be re*79garded as citizens in respect to the right of removal. Railway Co. v. Whitton, 13 Wall. 270. The rights of the defendants are therefore the same as if they were natural persons. But as…
