This dispute arises from a contract to build a parking lot. The trial court rendered judgment in favor of the general contractor, Homeplace Homes, Inc. (Homeplace), and the subcontractor, Johnny Escalante, against the property owner, National Environmental Service Company, Inc. (NESCO). In four points of error, NESCO challenges the damages awarded to Homeplace plus the statutory interest and attorney’s fees awarded to Escalante.
