—In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County *280(Underwood, J.), entered June 17, 1996, which, at the close of the plaintiffs case, granted the defendant’s motion to dismiss the complaint for failure to establish a prima facie case.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed, without costs or disbursements.

The plaintiff was a wedding guest at a reception held at the defendant’s catering hall. Following the reception, the plaintiff became embroiled in a dispute with an individual who apparently was a guest…
