MURPHY, Circuit Judge.

Jana M. Turpin applied for disability insurance benefits, stating that she had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and emphysema. After an initial denial of her application, she requested a hearing before an administrative law judge (ALJ). The ALJ denied Turpin’s application, concluding that she was not disabled because there were jobs she could have performed during the relevant period. The Appeals Council then denied review.
