This action is brought by the Attorney-General in the name of the people of this State, in pursuance of the provisions of section forty-three of the Code, for the purpose of vacating the charter of the appellants, or annulling its existence as a corporation. The defendants were incorporated by filing articles of association on the sixth day of Septembter, 1851, pursuant to chapter 210, of the Laws of 1847.
