I. PROCEDURAL HISTORY

This matter comes before the court from a denial of appellant Denise Bryan’s petition to open default judgment. The procedural posture of this matter is an appeal from an order entered in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas pursuant to the Rules of Civil Procedure governing Philadelphia Municipal Court Appeals of Money Judgments.
