1Opinion of the CourtRhodes, J.
Section 1373 of the Greater New York Charter provides, among other things, for assistant clerks of the Municipal Court of said city, and that they shall be appointed in each district by the justice or justices thereof for a term of six years from the date of appointment; that the board of estimate and apportionment shall, on the recommendation of the board of justices, prescribe the number of assistant clerks. By amendments to said section the appointment of additional assistant clerks was provided for.
