This suit .was brought by appel-lee against appellant to enforce the collection of a promissory note for $1,300 executed by him on the 26th day of December, 1912, due December 1, 1915, payable to the order of the J. A. Copeland Mercantile Company (a corporation), and bearing interest at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum from date until paid, with usual attorney’s fees clause.
