HOLLOWAY, Circuit Judge.

This appeal arises from a diversity action based on a claim of medical negligence. The injured plaintiff, Louis Prager, alleged that Campbell County Memorial Hospital and its employee, Dr. Brian Cullison (together, the Hospital Defendants), negligently failed to diag nose Mr. Prager’s broken neck following an automobile accident, resulting in serious nerve damage to his left arm.
