I certainly agree with the eminent chancellor that child custody cases are the most difficult and nerve-racking of all those addressing themselves to the courts. Nearly every decision is a heartrending one to me. I might well agree with the majority if I were convinced that the chancellor had treated this as a change in custody awarded by judicial decree. Even then, I would agree reluctantly, because the polestar in custody cases — the welfare of the child — leads me to the conclusion that custody should not be changed in this case. But I am convinced that the chancellor considered this case…
