The action in this case was brought by the State under article 67 of the Code (section 1 eb seq.) to recover for a father the damages suffered from death of his minor son by negligence of the defendant. The appeal is from the rulings which excluded evidence of the funeral expenses of the son, and limited the recovery of compensation for a loss of services and support by the son to the. period of the minority of the son.
