KEARSE, Circuit Judge:
Defendant Michael Shoulberg appeals from a judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, convicting him, following his plea of guilty before Joseph M. McLaughlin, Judge, of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute it, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) (1988). Shoul-berg was sentenced to 84 months in prison, five years of supervised release, and a $50 special assessment.
