Campbell v. Yokel

This is an appeal from an order of the Circuit Court of Edwards County granting defendants’ motion for a summary judgment and dismissing plaintiffs’ complaint.

Plaintiffs, owners and operators of the Campbell Grain and Seed Company, alleged in the complaint that they had reached an oral agreement on February 7, 1973, with the defendant farmers. It was alleged that the defendants agreed to sell and the plaintiffs agreed to purchase 6,800 to 7,200 bushels of yellow soybeans at a price of $5.30 per bushel.
