This is a suit in equity, filed by plaintiff, wherein he seeks to remove a cloud from his title to a tract of land of two hundred and fifty-nine acres located in Grundy county, Missouri. The alleged cloud upon the title was in the form of a judgment in favor of the defendant Copeland and against Fred A. Hein from whom plaintiff purchased the land. Copeland had an execution issued about two years after plaintiff had purchased the land and the sheriff levied upon the land in question to satisfy [685] the judgment.
