WILLIAM HAROLD COX, Chief Judge.
The plaintiff (born March 26, 1908) is a white, well nourished male person with a third grade education who sues for social security benefits and to establish a period of disability.1 The ap*577plication is dated March 5, 1963. All earnings requirements were met until December 31, 1963. The applicant contended that he had back trouble and numbness of his left leg and was totally disabled within the meaning of the act.
