MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
HADEN, Chief Judge.
Pending is Defendants’ motion for summary judgment on all issues. For reasons discussed below, the motion is GRANTED.
I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
Dr. David J. Rice and the Community Health Association, d/b/a Jackson General Hospital (Hospital) entered into a five-year written employment agreement, which began on July 1, 1996, and which was to end on July 1, 2001.
