This is an appeal from the decree of. the- Circuit Court of the District ’ of Columbia, for the county of Alexandria, sitting in chancery.
It appears from the record, that the appellant Charles McKnight, by deed bearing date the 29th day of September, 1813, conveyed to Robert I.
