Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review a determination of respondent which placed petitioner in involuntary protective custody.
Upon receipt of information that petitioner’s safety was in jeopardy, a recommendation that he be placed in involuntary protective custody was issued. After a hearing, it was determined that valid cause existed to keep petitioner in involuntary protective custody.
