The defendant appeals from his convictions of murder in the second degree and of unlawfully carrying a handgun without a license (G. L. c. 269, § 10[ti]). Four issues are raised in this appeal.1 Three involve claims of error in the trial judge’s instructions; the fourth is directed to the ineffectiveness of trial counsel.2 We affirm.
