WATHEN, Chief Justice.

Plaintiff Joan White appeals from the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Somerset County, Kravchuk, J.) ordering defendant Freeman Allen to pay past child support in the amount of $14,400 and future support in the amount of $1500 per month. White contends on appeal that the court erred in limiting the amount of the retroactive award to reimbursement. She contends that in awarding past support the court should have applied the same statutory factors and child support guidelines it employed in making the prospective award.
