The petitioner, Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. (employer) appeals an order of the Workmens Compensation Appeal Board which reversed a decision of the referee denying a claim petition filed by John Koval (claimant).

The claimant had worked for the employer as a welder for over twenty-seven years. In August of 1982, the claimant suffered fractures of the second and third *567toes when a pipe fell on his foot. Claimant, at the same rate of pay, was given light duty work where he watched other welders perform their jobs. This job allowed the claimant to sit with his injured foot…
