Re: Interpretation of article 2340, V.T.C.S.

Dear Mr. Tabor:

Your predecessor in office requested an Attorney General Opinion on questions arising out of the following fact situation: The wife of a county commissioner for Hockley County was employed as deputy clerk in the county clerk's office.
