THIS IS a pre-Code arrangement proceeding, instituted by J. C. Investments, Inc. (JCI), a debtor who seeks rehabilitation under Chapter XI of the Bankruptcy Act of 1898. The matter in controversy is the extent of JCI’s liability for federal income taxes for the tax year of 1971 and the years up to and including 1975.
