Defendant William S. Callinan appeals from a judgment of conviction of murder, based on a jury verdict, which found the 51-year-old William Callinan guilty of the murder of a 14-year-old Bureau County girl. The chief witness for the State was defendant’s 15-year-old son, Timothy Callinan, who testified that he was with the defendant, his father, on the evening of April 7, 1974, when defendant William Callinan strangled Tracy Sapp, aided by Timothy.
