The appellee sued the Diamond State Telephone Company and the Chestertown Electric Light and Power Company of Kent County for damages alleged to have been sustained by him by reason of coming in contact with a wire heavily charged with electricity, which caused great,injury to him. It is alleged that the defendants negligently permited a loose wire of the Telephone Company to come in contact with one of the feed wires of the Light and Power Company on High street, in Chestertown, and to remain in a condition dangerous to the lives of those lawfully using the highways of that town.
