I. Introduction

This bankruptcy appeal by Wayne Copelin (Copelin) asserts that the bankruptcy court erred when it enjoined his efforts to collect a judgment from Innovo, Group, Inc. Copelin contends that his collection efforts are simply the efforts of a creditor to satisfy a judgment against a nondebtor. Innovo contends, however, that its merger with and into the debt- or, Spirco, Inc., formerly known as Nasco, Inc., bars Copelin’s effort to satisfy the judgment.
