The defendant, Kerry Ledet, appeals a conviction for second degree murder.
On February 14, 1995, the defendant entered the Fruit of the Loom plant in Abbe-ville to speak with Elaine Leday. Ms. Le-day, his estranged girlfriend, worked at the plant. He wanted her to drop charges she had filed against him for breaking her windshield. Ms. Leday walked away from the defendant. He followed her into the plant manager’s office.
