CONSOLIDATED MEMORANDUM OPINION ALLOWING DEBTORS’ CLAIMS OF THE FLORIDA SUPER-EXEMPTION

Under a newly enacted exemption available under Chapter 222 of the Florida Statutes, an individual who does not “claim or receive the benefits of a homestead exemption under s. 4, Art. X of the State Constitution” (“Homestead Exemption”) is entitled to claim an additional $4,000 of personal property as exempt from legal process. Fla.
