This is an action under the Nebraska Workmen’s Compensation Act. The case was first tried before a judge of the Nebraska Workmen’s Compensation Court where an award was entered in favor of the claimant, William Gilbert, and against his employer, the Metropolitan Utilities District. The award was that the claimant suffered a 25 percent permanent partial disability for which he was entitled to compensation at the rate of $9.54 a week for a period of 300 weeks from and after the. date of the accident.
