Appeal from a judgment of the Monroe County Court reversing a judgment rendered in a Justice’s Court in favor of the plaintiff.
In the years 1865 and 1866, the defendant was the cleric of the county of Monroe. On the 18th June, 1865, the plaintiff recovered a judgment before a justice of the peace of the town of Clarkson, in said county, against Ira Haskins and Delos Cheeney, for $35.92 damages and seventy-five cents costs, in an action on contract, and on the 29th August, 1865, delivered a transcript of said…
