SOBELOFF, Chief Judge.

In making an award under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C.A. § 1346(b), § 2671 and § 2674, for personal injuries sustained by a civilian employee of the Norfolk., Naval Shipyard, the District Court rejected the Government’s contention that it should have the benefit of a set-off calculated at the present value of the annuity payable to the plaintiff under the Civil Service Retirement Act, 5 U.S.CA. § 2251 et seq. For the reasons to be stated, we think the District Court properly denied the set-off.
