{¶ 2} On August 1, 1994, Samuel Geneva was operating his motor vehicle in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, while under the influence of alcohol. His vehicle travelled left of center and struck a motor vehicle driven by Helen Lucille Meek. Kevin Meek and Jeremy Belt were passengers in Ms. Meek's vehicle at the time of the collision.
