MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

On October 12, 2010, the government filed a petition to enforce six Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) summonses. (Docket No. 1.) In response to an ex parte motion, the Court ordered respondents to “show cause why each should not be compelled to obey [the IRS] summonses.... ” (Docket No. 7.) The Court further ordered respondents to file a response to the government’s petition supported by appropriate affidavits, and “that any affidavit failing to comply with [the standard set forth in the order] shall not be considered by the Court.”…
