The defendant is a farmer, owning and operating a farm in AVashington County. Beginning about March 1, 1928, until the time of the accident hereinafter referred to, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant to render service as a farm hand. The accident occurred on July 17, 1928, while the plaintiff and the defendant were engaged in cutting oats. The binder, when in operation, was pulled by power from a tractor connected therewith.
