Defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII). ORS 813.010. He assigns error to the trial court’s denial of his motion to suppress evidence discovered as a result of what defendant contends was an illegal stop. Defendant argues that he was unlawfully stopped when a deputy parked his patrol car behind defendant’s parked car and shined the patrol car’s spotlight on the back of defendant’s car.
